Accounting Professional Year Program
Run by the Department of Home Affairs, it is for overseas graduates with an Australian accounting degree. The Accounting Professional Year Program, developed by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the Institute of Public Accountants, offers accounting graduates a structured path from education to work in Australia. The Accounting PY program comprises at least 44 weeks of training engagements, out of these 44 weeks 12 weeks are mandatory allotted for the internship placement. PY – Accounting is a booster for your pathway to permanent residency under the general skilled migration (GSM) for 485 visa holders.
The professional year program in accounting makes you learn the Australian business culture and atmosphere also the student will know how to search for employment in the Australian workplaces. Eligiblity
Students must fulfill the below requirements to be considered for the Professional Year in Accounting:
- Students must have completed at least two years of education in Australia to acquire their accounting degree.
- A Graduate (Temporary) Visa (subclass 485) of at least 12 months validity was obtained or sought for.
- A current IELTS score of 6.0 overall and 6.0 in each skill, or a comparable English test result.
- An accounting professional association’s Migration Skills Assessment result letter.
- Before beginning the Professional Year Program, students must first complete a pre-enrolment interview and questionnaire.
- A valid passport.
- Perform a wide range of tasks in the Automobile Industry.
